VACANCY: Family Help Lead
Family Help Leads play a vital role in delivering targeted family support to families with children aged 0–11. Working across Gloucester and the Forest of Dean, you’ll hold a caseload, assess need using My Plan Plus and outcome stars, and act as Lead Professional for families – planning, delivering and evaluating the interventions that help them move forward. You’ll also deliver targeted group work and parenting programmes, and be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with families, professionals, and community partners to create inclusive, resilient and connected neighbourhoods.

VACANCY: Community Family Worker
Community Family Workers play a vital role in delivering both universal and targeted support to families with children aged 0–11. Working in centres in Gloucester, you’ll lead group sessions with families and their children, provide one-to-one support in the role of family support, and help bridge the gap between universal services and more intensive interventions or support. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with families, professionals, and community partners to create inclusive, resilient and connected neighbourhoods.
You’ll be led by a Community Manager and work closely with colleagues across the Family Hub. Your work will include parenting support, planning and delivering both targeted and universal groups, safeguarding, and contributing to multi-agency plans that improve outcomes for children.

VACANCY: Centre and Volunteer Coordinator
Centre and Volunteer Co-ordinators are the welcoming face of our Children and Family Centres. Working across Gloucester, you’ll give every visitor a warm and inclusive welcome, take pride in our centres looking great, and provide the logistical and admin support that keeps things running smoothly – from room bookings, signage and supplies to feedback, data and health and safety checks. You’ll be part of a team that works collaboratively with families, professionals, and community partners to create inclusive, resilient and connected neighbourhoods.
You’ll be led by a Community Manager and work closely with Family and Community Connectors and colleagues across the Family Hub. Often the first person a visitor meets at reception, you’ll know what is going on across the service and provide the first signposting and information to families. You’ll also work alongside and mentor volunteers, helping them build skills, experience and confidence while contributing to the running of our centres.
